1/2 cup butter
1 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/3 cup chopped walnuts
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and sugar. Beat in the egg and vanilla, gradually blend into the creamed mixture. Beat in the flour and baking powder; stir into the creamed mixture. Lastly, stir in the brown sugar and nuts. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
Iinnnnna will make again. We�re guardians of the recipe. Ignore the red tape and this is very simple to make. Will definitely make again.
I made this quick and easy but I added cream cheese and cookies. I will make this again.
