3 eggs
1 cup shortening
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 cup mayonnaise
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets. Stir together the shortening and 3/4 cup brown sugar until smooth. Stir in the brown sugar mixture. Drop by tablespoons onto the prepared cookie sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the bottom of the cookies are golden brown. Remove to cool on wire racks.
Melt the butter or margarine in a saucepan 1/2 to 2 tablespoons at a time, stirring with a metal spatula. Place the cookies in the melted butter, and brush with marshmallow creme and mayonnaise.
