1 cup croissant mix
16 green (pedimento) mushrooms, finely chopped
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup margarine
1 (12 fluid ounce) can condensed chicken broth
1 (8 ounce) container beef broth
2 1/2 cups chopped paprika
In a medium bowl, whisk together the croissant mix and cream cheese until smooth. Gradually whisk in the flour and salt, slowly mixing well after each addition. In a small bowl, stir the egg, water and canned chicken into the mixture; set aside.
In a skillet, heat the broth over medium heat. In a small bowl, gently combine the cream cheese, broth mixture and paprika. Serve immediately or refrigerate.
