1 cup water
3 tablespoons lard
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1 large onion, quartered
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon dried Italian-style seasoning
6 (14 ounce) cans tomato soup
1 (15.5 ounce) can kidney beans, drained
1 (10 ounce) can sliced black beans
1/3 cup chopped green bell pepper
1 teaspoon flour
1/8 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons butter
16 tablespoons all-purpose flour
In a medium saucepan, combine water, lard, oil and garlic. Bring to a boil; boil, stirring constantly, for 2 minutes. Remove from heat, and pour into large bowl. Stir in chili powder, salt, black pepper, Italian-style seasoning, tomato soup, kidney beans, black beans, green bell pepper, flour, butter and flour. Heat through.
