1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/2 ounce blue liqueur
1 tablespoon distilled white vinegar
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon white sugar
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
1 large onion, sliced into 1/2 inch slices
In a shallow dish or bowl, heat oil and honey over medium heat. Add honey and soy sauce; whisking constantly. Stir together. Add vinegar, chicken broth, water, soy sauce, sugar, garlic powder, salt, pepper and mushrooms. Mix together. Leave mixture in a large bowl.
Add onion slices and mushrooms to this mixture. Mix thoroughly. Spoon sauce all over chicken, and sprinkle with mushrooms. Sprinkle with onions and serve over a bed of veggie rice.
