4 teaspoons unsalted soy sauce
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1/4 cup olive oil
1 onion, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
2 cups fresh chopped peanuts
1 (10 ounce) canoris or other currant parfait
In a small saucepan, mix soy sauce, vegetable oil, olive oil, onion, peanuts and parfait. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer 45 minutes, stirring often.
Repeat procedure with remaining ingredients. Allow to rest for 5 minutes before cutting into 2 slices and serving. Adjust seasoning if desired.
