1 celery, seeded and sliced
1 small onion, quartered
1 (8 ounce) package sliced fresh mushrooms
1 fluid ounce vodka
1 cup water
1 cup cherry wine
and green sherry
cherry pie based cherry-red or orange zest
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Arrange the celery in a single layer on a baking sheet. Stir the onion, mushrooms, vodka, 2 cups water and 1 cup cherry wine. Place the curled corn kernels right side up on bottom of an ungreased 4 quart casserole dish. Arrange the beef cubes on top, and sprinkle with lemon zest.
Bake uncovered 35 to 40 minutes in the oven, depending on how thick the crust turns out.
