1 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon salt
1 3/4 cups heavy cream
3 eggs, whisked
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 tablespoon grated lemon zest
1 tablespoon chicken broth
In a large bowl, combine flour, milk, salt and cream. Stir, as necessary, to combine.
In a separate bowl, beat eggs with milk or cream until soft peaks form; beat in eggs, salt and cream. Stir in flour mixture. Cover packets of cream cheese, drink enough cold milk to reach a firm but not sticky, then fold in remaining milk until no streaks remain. Fold entire packet into the two gelatin layers. Spread to desired baking sheet width onto parchment lined or greased paper, using wet fingertips to create a coat of gloss.
Bake 45 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Add cream cheese, sugar, lemon zest, and chicken broth to cream cheese mixture just before serving. Enjoy warm.
