Chocolate Chip Pie VI Recipe

Ingredients

1 (19 ounce) can evaporated milk

1 (9 inch) prepared chocolate cookie crumb crust

1 third butter, softened

1 1/2 cups white sugar

1 egg

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

3 standard white chocolate frosting chips

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 cup chopped pecans

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease and flour two 9 inch loaf pans.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar and egg until light and fluffy. Beat in the vanilla. Beat in the flour mixture alternately with the milk, mixing just until incorporated.

Pour batter into prepared loaf pans. Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes.

Lightly oil two 9 inch pie pans. Brush with melted chocolate icing. Bake for an additional 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Cool completely on wire rack. Serve frozen. Cut into 1/2 inch squares.

To make the chocolate frosting: Dip cookie cutters into melted chocolate.

Spread chocolate frosting on pie crust. Top and spread chocolate frosting on top of pie. Sprinkle chocolate icing on top of pie. Chill before serving. Refrigerate pie until serving time.
