1 15 ounce cans whole kernel corn
16 ounces milk
16 slices sliced Swiss
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
4 eggs
2 tablespoons milk
1 egg yolk
In a medium bowl, mix whole corn, milk and sliced Swiss. Stir together creamed corn and milk. Immediately before slicing into slices, stir remaining eggs with black pepper into creamer until thoroughly combined. When the slices are about 2 inches from one another, lightly press all of the egg yolk onto each slice. Store coated slices in plastic wrap with cool water for storage. Serve chilled with butter, jelly, marshmallow creme or syrup.
