1 3/4 cups milk
1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 egg whites
1 zest of 1 orange, garnish
1 (20 ounce) can lemon-lime flavored Jell-O
1 egg
1 teaspoon orange zest
1 teaspoon lemon extract
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
In a medium glass bowl, combine milk, sugar, salt, egg whites, orange zest, orange juice, lemon-lime flavored gelatin, orange zest and lemon extract. Mix well.
Stir cream into milk mixture. Roll up jelly-roll shape. Freeze 30 minutes. Dissolve egg in gelatin mixture.
Beat cream and lemon juice in small bowl 1 hour before serving. Refrigerate jelly-rolls and plain jell-ons at least 4 hours.
