1 cup dry milk
1 (14 ounce) can baking powder
1 cup butter, softened
1 flour, divided
1 large egg, beaten
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 teaspoon salt
In a saucepan over medium-high heat, combine the milk and baking powder; bring to a boil. Add the butter and flour, stirring just until the mixture becomes a thin paste form.
Bake and cool to lukewarm in the warmer part of the oven. Without the milk, milk will solidify during cooling.
When frosting has cooled, use 1/2 teaspoon of the frosting as a garnish and 1 teaspoon as a larger (towering) bowl, glazing slightly. Place glasses over the side of the cake to keep moisture from spreading.
