1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup milk
1 cup cranberry juice
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened cranberry sauce
2 cups chopped cherries
In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, butter, brown sugar, egg, milk, cranberry juice and vanilla. Mix until well blended. Spread filling into a 9x13 inch pan. Chill in refrigerator.
Remove muffin tops from pan. Remove and discard muffin liners. Remove muffins from pan. Serve hot from pan. Refrigerate rest of filling in refrigerator.
I followed the recipe exactly making no changes and these were amazing! My husband LOVED them and they were so good. I only changed a few things in order. First, I used red bell pepper flakes in place of yellow and black olives. Second, I used fresh mild cilantro which I added at the end of the dressing. Third, I used a large fresh cactus which I sliced into chunks. Fourth, I only used 1 Tablespoon salt. Fifth, I only used 3 cloves of diced garlic. Sixth, I only used 1 teaspoon onion powder.
