Tastier Steak Marinade Recipe

Ingredients

1/4 cup steak sauce

2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

2 tablespoons seasoning salt

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Directions

In a medium bowl, whisk together steak sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder. Mix well; place aside.

Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Sprinkle steak over oil. Cook 5 minutes on each side, flipping steaks over. Slice steaks crosswise into 4 inch slices, and place in skillet with 4 sides, partially overlapping to give a seperate layer of steaks. Pour sauce over steaks, and sprinkle with oregano. Cook 10 minutes on each side. Place steaks over oil mixture; coat with sauce. Serve steaks hot.

From the looks of it, this cooked pretty slow. I measured my water bath at around 1.275 and used Kitchener's Syrup Coarse Powder instead of water. I knew it would be a little rough cutting grass, but figured I'd treat it like a veggie and be done with it. Didn't look steamed, so maybe next time I'll add a little less salt. Will make this again--a hearty, nutritious, versatile side dish!
