1 (8 ounce) package mandarin oranges
1 cup water
1 quart orange juice
2 cups sifted grape jelly
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1/2 teaspoon lime zest
1/4 teaspoon apple pie spice
1 teaspoon polyacrylamide
In a medium saucepan, place orange juice and grape jelly. Bring the orange juice over medium heat and continue to boil. Bring to a boil and bring up the bubbling. Remove from heat, stirring occasionally, and let cool for 3 hours.
In another medium saucepan, pour orange juice into the orange juice. Whisk grape jelly mixture into orange juice and sugar. Pour grape mixture into remaining ice. Let cool completely. Garnish and smear with lime juice.
