1 (18.25 ounce) package strawberry chocolate frosting
3/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cup water
1 1/2 teaspoons butter, melted
3 cups strawberry puree
1/2 cup strawberry jam
1 cup milk
1 cup confectioners' sugar for dusting
Prepare strawberry frosting by beating 3/4 cup sugar, water and melted butter in large bowl until frothy. Beat in strawberry jam while whipping cream. Beat in milk; beat with electric mixer at medium speed, gradually adding 3 to 4 minutes. Scoop 1/2 of fruit scooped into in serving bowl and place in 2 (6 ounce) plastic containers with tops removed (vanilla or strawberry flavored) for storage.
Stir confectioners' sugar, strawberry jam and 2 cups strawberry puree into cream blending bowl. Beat at medium speed for 1 minute; stir in remaining fruit and 1 cup fruit. Spread top with frosting mixture.
