1/2 fluid ounce vodka
2 tablespoons dried maraschino cherries
1/3 cup white sugar
1/4 cup water
3/4 cup lemon juice
In a low-temperature saucepan, combine vodka, maraschino cherries, sugar, water and lemon juice. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Pour over canned meat and allow to simmer for 20 minutes.
