1/2 cup margarine
1/2 cup butter
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup white sugar
3 tablespoons vanilla extract
1 pinch salt
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 quart milk
1 pound chocolate chip cookies
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour 3 (8.5 inch square) baking pan or 8x8 inch baking pan.
Beat margarine and butter into a large bowl. Stir in brown sugar and peanut butter. Spread onto the prepared pan and sprinkle with white sugar and peanut butter mixture. Place chocolate chips on top of the mixture.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until chocolate chip cookies are completely set. Cool before cutting into squares.
