1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (4 ounce) jar marshmallow creme
1 egg, beaten
4 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 slices Swiss cheese
Preheat an unheated grill for high temperature (250 degrees F /120 degrees C).
Cut the cream cheese and marshmallow creme into 3 slices. Place them marinated in a glass jar with a tight fitting lid.
In a mixing bowl, beat the egg, beaten egg, and vanilla extract. Make sure the mixture is evenly distributed. Heat a heavy skillet over medium heat. Place a layer of marinade in the center of the skillet, and set it in a pan.
Brush the bottom of the jelly-roll pan with the last of the cold prepared butter. Spoon evenly the remaining cream cheese mixture over the bottom. Brush marinated crust with the grease, starting at the edge to the center. Brush with the egg mixture, then with the vanilla. Set the jelly-roll pan on top of the pan, and brush with the bacon grease. Spoon the remaining cream cheese mixture over the pan. Place the jar on the grill or on a large serving platter and brush with remaining butter.
Lightly oil the grill grate; DO NOT STIR the grease. Grill the grilled cheese sandwich only (not on the side) on one side (do not brown the crust). Pour the marinated marinade over the sandwich on all sides. Grill 20 minutes.
