1 (10 ounce) package frozen tortillas
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup milk
1/2 pound leftover bread cubes
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 10x15 inch casserole dish.
In a medium bowl, mix together tortillas, salt and cream. Sprinkle over bottom of prepared casserole dish. Layer 1 slice of Cheddar cheese on each tortilla, then another piece of cheese, then another layer of cheese, then another fun twist of cheese. Repeat until all cheese is used.
SPOON 1/2 cup of cheese onto each tortilla, then sprinkle remaining cheese evenly over the top. Bake 20 minutes or until casserole is golden brown and center (a bit crisp). Cool before serving. About 1/2 cup of leftover cheese to sprinkle over top.
