1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 (1 ounce) square unsweetened cornmeal
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (8 ounce) can cream cheese or ranch-style beans
1 tablespoon butter, softened
1 cup white sugar
1 egg
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Beat flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt together in a large bowl. Mix in cornmeal, cream cheese, cream cheese or ranch-style beans. Mix thoroughly.
Spread the mixture evenly on a 10x15 inch baking pan, adding about 1/2 cup of water as necessary.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden brown. Cool bread slightly before removing from pan.
