2 pounds beef stewed in water
1 onion, chopped
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 (.25 ounce) packet dry beef bouillon granules
1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano
2 1/2 teaspoons dried onion flakes
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 1/4 teaspoons dried sage
1 1/2 teaspoons dried marjoram
1 teaspoon dried thyme
salt and pepper to taste
1 1/2 pounds tomato puree
1 cup water
In a large pot combine the beef, onion, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, oregano, onion flakes, basil, sage, marjoram, thyme, salt, pepper and tomato puree. Cover and reduce heat to low.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for about 20 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in water. Stirring well, bring mixture to a full boil, reduce heat to low and simmer for about 10 minutes. Serve over spaghetti or spaghetti sauce.
