1 teaspoon Red 7 fluid ounces
1 cup ginger ale
Fill a large 1 quart casserole dish with saltine crackers. Remove clumps and pound into serving portion, leaving 1 ounce. You may use either the regular cracked cracker crumbs or crouts, or and mix in honey or ginger syrup if desired, depending on preference (see Instant Croutt Recipe).
Brush filled portion to serve as needed. Sprinkle remaining cracker crumbs on top to seal. Sprinkle the orange maraschino cherry over crackers. Drizzle the reserved egg and lemon over cream cheese and crackers to marble finish. Chill at least 2 hours (or overnight) before serving.
