1 (16 ounce) package Pecan Pie Crusts
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup milk
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 cup sliced pecans
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, mix brown sugar, vanilla, egg, flour, baking soda, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Mix well. Spread mixture onto a 9x9 inch baking dish.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until crust is golden brown at edges.
While pie is baking, beat butter, milk, eggs, pecans and vanilla in medium bowl until well blended. Remove from oven and spread pie mixture over pie.
Remove oven door from oven, and sprinkle with pecans. Bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until crust is golden brown. Cool on a wire rack and cool completely before cutting out slices.
