2 quarts chicken broth
2 1/2 cups cornmeal
3 cups corn meal
4 cups instant ground beef
4 cups vegetable shortening
2 cups chopped cooked onion
3 eggs, beaten
2 cups blueberries
1 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk or honey
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup water
Place chicken broth, cornmeal, corn meal, instant chicken fat, onion, eggs and blueberries in a large saucepan and bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover and simmer 20 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and no longer pink inside.
In a separate saucepan over medium heat, melt the remaining butter. Stir in sugar, water, cinnamon and corn syrup. Simmer 10 minutes, or until the mixture boils and thickens.
