3 quarts water
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 pound potatoes, diced
1 onion, peeled and sliced
1 cup white wine
1 tablespoon honey
4 teaspoons salt
4 tablespoons chicken broth
1 pound soft white bread cubes
1/2 cup butter
In a large saucepan bring water to a boil. Add potatoes and cook in boiling water until tender but firm, 20 to 30 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water.
Whisk onion and wine together, and add honey, salt, ground beef, 4 teaspoons broth and celery, 1/2 cup bread cubes. Simmer 10 minutes. Season with 1/2 cup bread cubes and 1/2 cup butter. Serve hot.
