4 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
4 tablespoons white sugar
4 tablespoons cornstarch
1 cup milk
4 tablespoons butter
In a large large double boiler, combine cocoa powder, sugar, and cornstarch. In a small bowl, whisk cocoa mixture with milk and butter until all ingredients are thoroughly combined. Adjust boiling time by 1 minute. Stir in cocoa mixture to desired consistency. Return to heat and cook, stirring occasionally, for 1 minute.
Heat gelatins in microwave to sterilize, then pour flavored syrup or water over top on serving platter.
While sauce is heating, melt chocolate in microwave oven over baking sheet until smooth; stir until smooth. Gradually stir in sauce, 1 tablespoon at a time, until smooth. Drop by spoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheets.
