1 (2 pound) package ground beef
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 1/2 cups milk
1 cup dry bread crumbs
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon paprika
1 cup dry bread crumbs
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 cup wet dry bread crumbs
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 (8 ounce) package shredded Cheddar cheese
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, salt, and pepper. Place 1 cup of milk and 1/2 of bread crumbs in a shallow dish or bowl. Stir milk mixture into meat mixture, then pour milk mixture over crumb mixture.
Melt 1/2 of the Cheddar cheese in skillet, then mix with remaining 1/2 of the cheese in skillet. Cook until cheese is melted and smooth. Remove skillet from heat and stir in bread crumbs and salt and paprika.
Spread 1/2 of the mixture in a greased shallow baking pan. Layer with 1/2 of the Cheddar/Cheese mixture. Top with 1 cup of cheese. Arrange remaining mixture on top.
Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour, or until firm.
