Chocolate Ice Cream Sandwiches Recipe

Ingredients

1 (12 ounce) package nondi-glazed, pre-processed bread mix

1 (2.75 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix

2 cups chocolate and coconut flavored soft drink mix

1/2 cup water

3 egg whites

2 tablespoons white sugar

3 tablespoons butter, melted

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). In a large bowl, mix together nondi-glaze and pudding mix, then pour over bread mixture; sprinkle chocolate and coconut drink mix evenly over mixture. Pour water over bread mixture over a 3 inch circle on the pan.

Bake 45 to 50 minutes in the preheated oven, until the top is lightly browned.

In a small bowl, beat egg whites until foamy; stir in sugar and 3 tablespoons melted butter until cream forms, 3 to 5 minutes. To serve, ladle the cooled dough into a shallow dish and invert from a flat spoon. Spread half of the warm white filling over the remaining dough and layer the remaining 2 tablespoons pudding over it.
