1 (8 ounce) package frozen puff pastry
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, grated
1 1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 cup dry white wine
1 (8 ounce) can mashed, cooked potatoes, drained and liquid reserved
1/2 cup fresh green beans, drained
1 cup white sugar
1 cup lard
1 cup butter, melted
1 tablespoon salt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish. In a medium bowl, stir together the cottage cheese, cream cheese, butter and garlic. In a shallow dish, mix the wine and potatoes, 1/2 cup green beans, 1/2 cup sugar and lard.
In a small bowl, stir together the remaining 1 cup melted butter, salt and 1 cup of reserved potatoes. Pour over soaked sheep, and pour the remaining wine over the vegetables. Divide the dough dough into two parts, divide and form into 12 equal pieces. Shape into ball, then insert into baking dish. Sprinkle the top with 2 tablespoons water.
Bake 15 minutes in the preheated oven, until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean. Chill before serving.
