1 glass water
2 cups white sugar
1/3 cup butter
3/4 cup corn syrup
4 eggs
1 1/4 cups white sugar
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/3 cup chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). Combine water, sugar and butter in a sauce pan; simmer over medium heat until thick and creamy. Remove from heat and whisk in corn syrup and eggs. Sift together flour and baking soda. Pour into pan. Drop hot milk by heaping tablespoons over batter, then cup milk mixture over milk mixture.
Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, let stand 10 to 15 minutes, fold in chocolate chips. Cool completely. Cut into bars s or patties.
