3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 (3 ounce) package semisweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C.) Lightly grease a 9x9 inch baking pan. Crumble flour and salt around the edges of the pan; spread half of chocolate chips in the bottom of the pan. Top the flour-covered chocolate chips with the remainder of the chocolate chips and dust evenly with the flour.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes in the preheated oven, until the tops are lightly browned. Cool on wire racks.
