1 cup water
1/2 cup olive oil
1 cup unsalted butter
8 lemon, peeled, fringed leaves
1 cup white wine
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons white wine vinegar
salt and pepper to taste
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine water, olive oil, butter, lemon juice, white wine, white sugar, brown sugar, brown salt and pepper. bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer 25 to 30 minutes, until berries of lemon are tender.
