1 cup wheat flour
1 cup white sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup water
1 cup full fat margarine
1/2 cup raisins
1 1/2 cups rolled oats
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 cup raisins
In a large bowl, combine wheat flour, sugar, egg and water. Stir till well blended.
In a large bowl, cream together the margarine, raisins, rolled oats and flour. Stir in the boiling water.
Heat the mixture over a simmer in a large skillet, stirring constantly. When the mixture comes to a boil, add the raisins and stir to remove them. Reduce heat to low and simmer until lowest point of each well floured loaf.
Let the bread cool before slicing.
