Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie Recipe

Ingredients

1 (9 inch) prepared chocolate cookie crumb crust

2 tablespoons butter

1 (2 ounce) package (12 ounce) frozen chocolate candy bar mix

2 (3/4 ounce) bars chocolate candy bar mix

3/4 cup peanut butter

1 cup water

1/2 cup peanut butter

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

To Make Peanut Butter Filling: In a medium saucepan, melt butter or margarine. Remove from heat and stir in candy bar mix. Stir until smooth. Add water or 1/2 cup peanut butter; bring to a boil. Stir until mixture becomes thick.

Pour into pastry shell; sprinkle with chocolate candy bars or mix without them. Bake in a preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until set. Cool immediately before removing from cookie sheet.

To Make Peanut Butter Filling: In a medium saucepan, melt butter or margarine. Remove from heat. In a small bowl, stir together candy bars and mix. Drop mixture into peanut butter layer, covering completely. Press peanut butter flat.

Spread peanut butter mixture over peanut butter layer, and press peanut butter flat. Let stand 15 minutes.
