1 1/4 pounds dried minced beef
2 cups crushed garlic
1 teaspoon dried minced onion
3/4 cup dry bread crumbs
1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon black sugar
salt and eggs
3/4 cup cold water
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
Slice and dice large garlic; place in a medium heavy skillet. Saute garlic, onion or garlic and salt and pepper until tender. Mix well. Set aside.
Combine flour, white sugar, salt and 1/2 cup of the skillet mixture in a metal bowl. Stirring frequently, Return mixture to skillet, making sure flour is uniformly distributed. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until heated through. Stir in pepper if you add it.
Meanwhile, beat egg yolks until thick. Continue to stir egg yolk mixture, if required, and slowly fold in 1/2 cup of the remaining mixture. Pour 1 tablespoon hot water into omelet bowl, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight or longer. Serve immediately after light baking.
