3/4 cup butter
2 1/4 cups white sugar
1/2 cup cornstarch
1 cup water
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, cream together the butter, sugar and cornstarch. Beat in the water until light and fluffy. Stir in cocoa. Stir in cream cheese, vanilla and milk. Pour into prepared baking pan.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven. Cool completely before cutting into squares or squares.
