3 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 small onion, diced
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 red bell pepper, chopped
1 large carrot, sliced
1 force garlic clove, smashed
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1 teaspoon lemon juice
freshly ground black pepper to taste
4 large hamburger patties topped with mustard and mayonnaise
Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly grease grate.
Toss potatoes and celery with shallots and garlic. Cover and simmer 10 minutes, Then blend with marinara sauce and brown pepper.. Remove the carrots and celery and cut into 1/4 inch slices. Fold the patties into this mixture, saving 4 corners.
Place burger over grill, medium heat, stirring constantly. Sandwich the burgers with the potato, celery and onion mixture.
Slice each patty into 4 squares and shallow fry in fat or oil between 2 sheets of plastic wrap, turning occasionally.
Grill at medium heat until internal topping of the meat reaches 212 degrees. Drain on paper towels.
