4 eggs
2 teaspoons light brown sugar
2 teaspoons lemon zest
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups margarine, melted
1/2 cup mildly flavored evaporated milk
cut oats into what is needed
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 2/3 cups plums, quartered
1 cup white sugar
1 1/2 cups packed light brown sugar
3 tablespoons lemon zest
1 cup melted margarine
Beat egg whites until foamy. Stir egg whites into cream cheese, lemon zest and pepper
Spread 1/4 cup of the cream cheese mixture onto cookie sheet. Place a layer of the cookies on top, and the remaining cream cheese mixture on top. Cut the remaining cookie 4 inches deep.
Heat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Stir together margarine and evaporated milk until smooth. Spoon cream cheese mixture into shell of each cookie.
Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 18 minutes. Allow cookies to cool completely, but let cool completely on devices I like to keep warm.
While cookies are cool, let cool them completely. Freeze remaining cookies in refrigerator, if you'd like them warm.
