1 cup lemon zest
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 (18 ounce) can sliced bananas
3 tablespoons white sugar
2 cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon zest
In a medium mixing bowl, mix lemon zest, brown sugar and butter or margarine. Stir to coat.
In a double boiler combine bananas, sugar, milk, vanilla extract and lemon zest.
Combine lemon juice, lemon zest and lemon zest. Stir to coat. Pour into 3 chilled plastic containers. Serve in chilled glass glasses.
