1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
Beat butter, sugar, eggs, and milk in small bowl until well blended. Stir flour into butter mixture; sprinkle on top.
Bake in preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, until golden brown. Cool 10 minutes; remove foil.
To make the coating: In a medium bowl, beat vanilla extract until smooth. Stir frosting into butter mixture; add powdered sugar and vanilla.
