1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 pound ground beef
4 ounces diced onion
1/2 pound seasoned black pepper
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon salt-free seasoning blend
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
1/2 teaspoon dried sage
In a large saucepan, heat oil over medium heat. Fry beef until no longer pink. Drain fat.
In a large skillet, heat pepper, garlic, salt, and salt. Stir in oregano, basil, rosemary, sage, and salt. Cook over low heat until vegetable mixture is heated through. Stirring constantly, cover, reduce heat, and simmer 3 minutes.
Stir in tomato sauce and brown sugar. Simmer 3 minutes longer.
Stir in spaghetti sauce. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 1 minute. Stir in 3/4 cup spaghetti sauce and simmer 2 minutes longer.
