1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons hot water
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 onion, chopped
1/3 cup brown sugar
3 tablespoons white sugar
1 tablespoon beef bouillon powder
1/2 teaspoon Italian-style seasoning blend
2 pounds beef roast
In a medium saucepan, combine lemon juice, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, 2 tablespoons hot water, oil, onion, brown sugar, 3 tablespoons sugar, beef bouillon powder, Italian-style seasoning and 2 pounds beef roast. Chill for 3 hours.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Bake beef in preheated oven for 15 minutes. Remove lid from oven and stir on low heat until beef is no longer pink; about 5 minutes. To cool, brown on parchment and reserve juices.
Remove lid from oven while still hot. Heat oil in pan on medium heat. When warmed, stir in vinegar and white sugar. Place sliced banana and sausage in pan and transfer oil to pan.
Bake for 8 to 10 additional minutes, or until meat is no longer pink and juices run clear. Slow cooking enhances the flavor of seafood.
