2 tablespoons olive oil
3/4 cup chopped onion
1 small yellow onion, thinly sliced
2 small red chile peppers, seeded and diced
1 dash garlic powder
1 dash crushed red pepper
freshly ground black pepper to taste
1 large clove garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
4 slices mozzarella cheese
In a medium saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Saute the onion, carrot, celery, onion powder and garlic powder in olive oil a few minutes, or until softened. Add the mace, red pepper, black pepper and pepper and stir.
Melt cheese according to package directions. Add meat mixture and stir into remaining mixture; cover, remove from heat for 15 minutes and remove pan from heat. Set aside.
Dredge garlic cloves in flour mixture. Mix with tomatoes, eggs, celery sugar, garlic powder and red pepper flakes. Serve warm.
