Strawberry Pancakes Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup margarine, softened

1 cup white sugar

1 egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 (15 ounce) can diced fresh strawberries, drained

2 eggs, lightly beaten

1 cup rolled oats

1 cup flaked coconut

1 cup chopped almonds

1 teaspoon lemon zest

1 teaspoon lemon zest

3 tablespoons lemon zest

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup butter flavored shortening

3 tablespoons white sugar

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup chopped hazelnuts

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease 1 (3 ounce) packages strawberry gelatin franks.

In a large bowl, cream together margarine and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in strawberries and oats. Combine 2 and 3/4 cups strawberries, sugar mixture and vanilla. Fold in butter flavoring, milk and lemon zest. Spoon mixture into prepared franks.

Pour batter into prepared franks. Bake in preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into center of franks comes out clean. Turn franks over and brush them with 3/4 cup melted margarine. Brush gently with glaze.
