Corn Cornbread II Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup butter

3 tablespoons white sugar

1 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons baking soda

3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease four 9x13-inch baking pans.

Lightly butter 1 cup butter, 1 cup sugar and salt. Bake, stirring, until bubbly; cool slightly. Beat in sugar baking soda. Turn to mixture and stir into sugar mixture, slowly mixing in flour, salt and baking powder.

Pour batter into prepared pans.

Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Keep warm with wire rack.
