1/2 cup shortening
2/3 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups rolled oats
1/3 cup milk
1/2 cup whey protein concentrate (optional)
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup skim white chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup raisins
1 cup heavy cream
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
In a medium bowl combine shortening, sugar and eggs. Mix until well blended. Stir in vanilla, oats, milk and whey protein. Stir in oats, chocolate chips and walnuts. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven. Cool slightly on baking sheets before removing to wire racks to cool completely.
