1 1/2 cups water
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 tablespoons white sugar
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons brown sugar
2 teaspoons orange juice
6 egg whites
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 tablespoons white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon almond extract
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a large bowl, mix water, oil, brown sugar, brown sugar, orange juice, egg whites and 1/4 cup oil. Stir thoroughly.
Divide mixture into 6 pancakes. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 15 minutes. Flip pancakes and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, brush top of hot water dish with nonstick cooking spray. Brush eggs on both sides of pancakes and sprinkle with remaining oil. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 10 additional minutes. Beat eggs and oil with electric mixer until lightly browned.
Place pancakes on a cookie sheet. Brush with brown sugar mixture and sprinkle with remaining oil. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 20 to 30 minutes, or until browned.
