2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
4 large onions, chopped
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 (8 ounce) can garbanzo beans, drained
1 (16 ounce) can kidney beans, drained
1 (16 ounce) can red kidney beans, drained
1 (8 ounce) can whole peeled tomatoes, with juice
1/3 cup water
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 cup white wine
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
salt to taste
ground black pepper to taste
Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and saute for about 10 minutes. Add onions and fry for about 8 minutes. Add the flour and cook for about 10 minutes. Mix in the garbanzo beans, kidney beans, bell pepper and tomatoes. Season with water, oil, garlic powder, wine, Worcestershire sauce and salt and pepper. Cook over low heat for about 30 minutes.
