2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 onion, chopped
1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
2 cups milk
1 cup kielbasa sausage
1 tablespoon white sugar
1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
1/4 cup chopped fresh thyme
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion, green bell pepper, seasoning salt, black pepper, chicken and stir-fry over high heat until no longer pink. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add 1/2 cup chicken broth and kielbasa. Stir vigorously to make a gravy. Stir in kielbasa, sugar, parsley, thyme and salt. Sprinkle with oregano, basil, thyme, parsley, parsley and thyme. Mix all together, return pan to medium heat and add remaining 1 cup of broth. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour. Stirring constantly, simmer for 10 minutes to ensure that all is well blended.
